and these are available by seperate arrangement.

Balmoral Castle, the home of the Royal Family during the summer,
and their place of worship, Crathie Kirk, are only eight miles away.

Monaltrie House is situated within the Cairgorns National Park,
where there is great climbing, hiking and skiing to be had.


This is an area of outstanding natural beauty that is rich in history.
Castles and fortfied houses are to found in several nearby locations
It is here that Macbeth was defeated by Malcolm Cranmore who
later initiated the games, the direct descendant of which is the
world famous Braemar Gathering and Highland Games held
each September in nearby Braemar
